IIN has a long-standing relationship with many of its visiting faculty, though none may be more recognizable than Deepak Chopra, who decided to step into the role of Chief Health Officer and bring his meditation and yoga curriculum to IIN’s platform.

For this momentous occasion, I worked as the Director of Photography; I planned out the shoot, lit the set and directed the crew on the day of filming.

For close to two years, IIN made the radical decision to update their Health Coach Training program. The update included filming new and existing visiting faculty lectures, re-editing older lectures to match the aesthetics of the newer ones, and overhauling the entire curriculum to be modern and forward-facing.

This is one example of the work I did during this period. On this particular shoot, I worked as the primary camera operator, and gaffer.

I was given this interview to edit. The background was masked and keyed out to appear totally white, though layers of color grading and exposure were layered to hide imperfections in the key.

IIN’s Health Coaches are the pride and joy of the company. They rise up to meet their clients where they are; facing their struggles one day, one conversation, at a time.

I was the editor on Maria Jose Flaque’s testimonial. I performed all of the masking, basic color and exposure balance, audio mixing and setting the pace for her compelling story.

In honor of International Women’s Day, IIN decided to showcase several women who decided to change not only their own lives, but the lives of many people. By becoming IIN Health Coaches, they were able to transform their own worlds into beautiful places to live and work.

I edited these interviews together, stringing a cohesive narrative from their disjointed stories of self-discovery.

IIN’s Health Coach Training Program launched the careers of thousands of Health Coaches. During the company’s annual conference, many of these coaches continue their learning with their favorite visiting faculty, connect with peers, and have loads of fun.

During this two-day event, I shot hours of b-roll and collected the event footage. I then edited it all together for this highlight reel.

IIN’s commitment to advocating for the health coaching profession brought on Health Coach Week - a celebration of the meaningful change that continues to evolve the health and wellness landscape.

I traveled as part of a two-man team to film and record the events around Washington, D.C. Once back in NY, I recorded audio for the host standups, and edited all of the footage together, including early-morning iPhone footage from the workout, animating graphics such as the congressional resolution, adding transitions and sound effects, and up-scaling b-roll from the Baltimore John Rogers School.
